The Coronavirus is an unprecedented business disaster, and it’s caught so many businesses, and entire nations completely off guard. I know you’re scared and nervous. We all are. We don’t know what’s going to happen, if our business will survive, if we can even make rent, how long this is going to last, and if we let it, this list of fears will never end. Because, when this crisis ends, and it will end, business will resume. You will want to have a plan in place to hit the ground running again. 

How are your employees coping? Do you know? It doesn’t matter if your employees are currently working at home and have too much work to do, if you’re a part of the essential jobs and services, like our doctors and our nurses, and you’re currently operating in harm’s way, or if you’ve had to lay off employees and close up shop completely. 

Because, when this crisis ends, and it will end, business will resume. However, the first mistake in a crisis is underestimating how much things can change. The second mistake is preserving your organization top operate in an environment that is no longer relevant. This crisis has the possibility to completely change how business in your industry is done. Make sure that you’re not desperately clinging to old ideas and ways when the future is decidedly going to be different.
