Our Support Process

We share our grief to get it off our chest. When we hold our grief in, it manifests in other more destructive ways, such as anger, gastrointestinal issues, stress, depression, and isolation.

The first thing we do is schedule a free, no obligation 15-minute call to talk about where you are right now with your grief and loss.

Grief and loss impacts everyone differently. Feelings of grief, isolation, anger, and fear can be overwhelming. There might also be a powerful sense of guilt and self-doubt, particularly when a decision was accepted to euthanize or rehome a pet. These feelings are usually normal and also a testimony to the special connection between people and their pets.

If you decide to go forward with our individual or group counseling services, we will determine the best group fit for you. Every group is different, and we try to place you in the best group for your immediate needs.

At PetCloud, we believe that nobody should suffer alone. We have many other free resources, services, and other support websites that we will give to you to help you through your grief.

Our trained counselors will help you determine your best course of action and place you in individual or group sessions, depending on your needs. Group video counseling is our most popular option, but that doesn’t work for everyone. Individual video counseling is a great solution, but, even with a sliding scale for qualified people, it can be unaffordable for some.

Regardless of your ability to afford services, we grief resources and support that will be made immediately available to you.

Sunday Evening Chatroom

Every Sunday evening, from 6-8pm PST, we host a FREE online video chatroom for those who are suffering from the loss of a pet. Registration is free and open to the public.

We highly recommend our group support groups. Join up to 10 other people each week in our video support chatrooms who are grieving just as you are. Sharing your story is the first step in healing.

One-on-One Counseling

We all heal in different ways, and this is the most specialized and involved way to directly and immediately address your most pressing grief concerns.

Pet Memory

Create Permanent Online Memorials with our Pet Memory Project. This is a permanent home for your memories and a safe place to tell your pet’s story. Once you create your pet’s profile, you’ll have access to it forever.

Free Counseling Resources

These activities are free and open to the public. Grief shouldn’t be privatized. In addition to our sliding payment scale, we also offer a wide range of resources and activities for the whole family to help you learn, process and to your loss.
