Turn off the outside world
All distractions. Turn off your phone, computer, and other electronic devices. Make sure there is nothing to interrupt you from this task.
Let your emotions be okay
This will be an emotional experience and there is a lot of temptation to run from your pain, to not say what you need to, to worry about what other people will think about what you create. Let the tears flow. Free yourself from those emotions that you have been holding back.
Start with ``My dearest.......``
If you can’t think of anything to write, then draw what you are feeling.
