My name is Nelly Larue, and I'm a fellow PetCloudian. After the loss of my dog Toncy, I came to PetCloud heartbroken, still in shock and unsure where to turn or what to do. Over the months, I went through PetCloud's Grief & Guilt courses with other members, spend many weeks with them in the daily pet loss checkin groups, and that space gave me the sensitive space for spiritual understanding to my grief and a gradual release of the pain from her passing.
I've since devoted myself to understanding pet loss grief on a deeper level. I've researched the emotional and physical impact of losing a pet, connected with veterinarians and mental health professionals all over the world, and ultimately became a Certified Pet Loss Support Specialist.
I was inspired by my deep bond and love for Toncy. Still. I combine this with reflective practices, somatic tools, and daily awareness techniques to help clients process grief, work through guilt, and honor their memories. Much of my approach is draw from my experiences in relationship coaching, matchmaking, and as a dive master; experiences where preparation, anticipation, and presence are essential for safety and enjoyment, translating into a thoughtful, grounded method for supporting clients through the unpredictable currents of grief.
I couldn’t be more honored to give back to the PetCloud community by helping others find compassion, understanding, and a place to heal through our PetCloud Support Programs.
