Mourning in the Morning

Mourning in the Morning

What we do in the morning can set the tone of our entire day. Let's start the day off by thinking differently about our losses. Every single morning (and RIGHT NOW, whenever you're reading this for the first time) start your day off this way.

Just take 5-minutes to sit in the silence of the new day. Just breathe. I created a morning meditation track a while ago for those who find it hard to sit in silence that's available to our members and those who ask nicely. Think about the things in your life that you CAN control right now. For everything else, let it be okay to set that aside for right now.

When the Morning Memories are finished, write 3 sentences:

  1. How are you feeling right now?
  2. What is ONE thing can I do today that will make me feel better?
  3. What ONE thing can I find right now to be grateful for?

Do this everyday for 14 days and you will notice a 100% improvement in how you feel. The grief will still be there, but you will feel emotionally and physically more resilient.
