To Join You In Transcendence
For many of us, this is the first Independence Day celebration without our beloved family with us, so naturally we're sad and thinking about how we would be spending our time together today if things had been different. It can be bitter-sweet remembering if they were scared of fireworks or not, how they reacted, and how we brought them comfort.
Those reminders can be painful, especially now. Join us today if you'd like to share your story and be around others.
If you can't, share a memory of them with someone you love.
Did your pet get scared by fireworks or loud noises? How did they react? What did they do? How did you comfort them when they were scared? Spend just a moment thinking about your last good holiday together. Then write for a few minutes.
