On the surface, this poem sounds isolating and alone, but really look at that last line: "But Never In Between". We were never alone while they were with us. All throughout our lives we always knew they were there waiting on us to come home. Although we feel alone now, we always have those comforting memories of companionship over the years, and I very much believe they are still with us. Once we truly share a connection like this with another, we are never really alone again.
