Little Goodbyes

We've been talking this week about all the little goodbyes that we have to say. The many little things, the little routines, behaviors, and everything else that we can no longer do...each of them has pain associated with it; it's hard to let that go. We don't want to let that go.

Little Goodbyes —

Little goodbyes hurt just as much,
...grief by a 1000 cuts.

Everyday something new,
reminding me of you,
and that too
must be parted with.

Let's talk about it today. Even though it hurts, it can still bring comfort to reconnect with those things and share that time in our lives with others.
