To Patch A Heart Hole:
Take Your Love, Keep It Close, Pack It Tight
Hold Onto It With The Mightiest Of Mights
Make It Small, Nice And Tidy, Teeny-Tiny
Iron It Flat, Then Glue It To Your Soul
That's How To Fix A Heart Hole
In The Shape Of A Cat
I've oftentimes heard the expression, "They left a hole in my heart", or a "Cat/Dog shaped hole in my heart", and I find that to be so true. How do you patch a hole that big? I heard an analogy this week about taking our love, smushing it all together, nice and tight, and use it to fill that hole in our hearts. What / How are you working to patch those holes in your hearts?
